Ernie Booth shows us a demo website for Burton, the popular snowboarding company.  It's an interactive way to actually show the items you want to buy in action as opposed to a still image.  It's all about the interactivity.  Silverlight allows you to use other technology's as well on a web-site.  Still want to use some HTML....go for it.  Silverlight Version 1.0 is coming out at the end of this summer.

Not that compelling of a demo. I was expecting a little more. For instance, Burton.com's existing site has video and uses Flash.. so what's Silverlight going do provide that will up the ante for sites like that? I guess I know a bit more myself to understand, but from a demo standpoint it would have been nice to hear more about why a design shop would want to switch to Silverlight and show off some thing you really can't do with Flash a little more clearly.
