ZOMG! It's about time, too. I have Office X and Office 2004 for my Macs...though I'll admit to never actually installing 2004. I never liked the flat GUI in 2004. Subsequent updates to X have slowly transformed its GUI into something closer to 2004, so it no longer matters anymore.
I'll be purchasing 2008 just as soon as its available. I was seriously impressed by the previews following your Vista Week early last year. I have Office 2007 for Vista on my PC, but I despise the performance. Why must office initialize and compile components every-time I boot it up? For every step forward Microsoft makes in updating software, they take 3 steps back in performance.
