There's this great new piece of innovative software called ORB and its free. It gives you instant access to your personal digital media library (music, photos, and video) from anywhere on-line. It streams your info for you so you can even watch your favorite TV show like SMALLVILLE from your cell phone.

Great Show as always. Orb looks really cool. I'm going to check it out right now. Smiley
I hear about a lot of technology, but after listening to Ian talk about this in the studio  (and learning it was free), I decided to install it as soon as I got back to my media machine at home Smiley

I was impressed by the fact that I can have all my content sitting at home in a variety of formats (wmv, mpg, etc...) and then access it from a device that supports a completely different format (real player for example) and it just works.
I've been waiting for an application like Orb for a while now.  I'm surrprised it works as well as it does, but I think the interface could use some work.  Ah, more time for Tina to obsess over Smallville.   It's an enjoyable show, but I haven't really kept up with it.  It breaks from the conventional Superman script a little too often for my tastes.
... that´s definetely the way forward with media in general.

BTW, when are we going to see more of Duncan, Scott and Major Nelson??
thanks, duncan!

"it just works" is our middle name

which is a bit long, i agree...

hey matthew

yeah, we agree with you about the interface work, actually - so there's a new PC interface (full-on AJAX goodness, with all the personalization power that implies) coming in a handful of weeks and new meevee-powered TV guide coming next week!

the whole medieval-witch-possessing Lana thread in Smallville is just lame, agreed, but the rest of the deviation from the Canonical Script rocks - and bringing everyone's fave WB actor, Spike (or whatever the dude's real name is), onto the show as this Kryptonian evil guy a la the Eradicator? and having Terence "kneel before Zod!" Stamp do the voice of Jor-El?

boss.
Good stuff!  Thanx Ian

You're the boss man!
Ah, so you're into that sort of thing.  I guess the lovely ladies aren't doing it for you!  No....just kidding, Max.  Wink
In the episode summary, the link to the orb website has a little too much stuff in front of it.
