To get this autologin working for a domain user, maybe you need to prefix the username with the domain name.

i.e. DOMAIN\username

I haven't tried it myself of course.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in a similar situation where I have one Windows 7 machine that I want to have auto-login to the network. Unfortunately, this tip does not work for me. I suspect it's because the machine in question is tied to an Active Directory domain and the account is logging into the active directory.

If anyone knows how to fix it so that you can log into an active directory on Windows 7 (like works in WindowsXP with TweakUI) I'd surely appreciate it.

Thanks a lot for this golden tip, Sarah!!!

Because of the addittion of an account due to the install of ASP.net/.net framework (as part of an upgrade), I all of a sudden had to log on to my PC.

I got a bit lost in all the Users Accounts possibilities, even the vast "Windows 7 Inside Out" couldn't help me. Or I must have missed the part I needed.

Anyway, thanks to your tip I was able to get rid of the log-on screen. And should you be concerned with the safety of my computer, I am a sole user of the machine ;)
