Along with the other announcements at E3, Microsoft also revealed a new game download service called Games on Demand which will arrive on the Xbox 360 in August. Using a credit card, you’ll soon be able to purchase full retail games right from the console, saving you a trip to your local game store.

When the service launches, there will be 30 titles made available immediately, including Mass Effect, Oblivion and Assassin’s Creed. Afterwards, new games will be added on a weekly basis. The games will be sold at retail prices.
