Facebook Sidebar Gadget

If you are a Facebook user running Vista or XP, there’s a new Facebook sidebar gadget for you to check out. This gadget lets you quickly change your Facebook status as well as see all the notifications sent to you including pokes, event invites, messages, friend requests, wall posts, etc. When you receive a new notification, you can click the link to open up the page in your browser. To use the gadget, you only need to download it and login. Log in once and it will remember your settings. Unlike a lot of sidebar gadgets, XP users can install this gadget, too. On XP machines, it will run as a desktop app. The gadget is ad-supported by means of a small text link at the bottom of the app.
