They're posting quick links to top stories and making quick, pithy commentary on the latest news. It's like reading through RSS feeds, but filtered for the best stuff and much, much faster. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's not all a bunch of posts like: "driving to work," "eating a bagel," etc., despite Twitter advertising themselves as a "what are you doing?" Q&amp;amp;A service....which is something people don't understand by just reading about the service. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another way to use it is as an offline IM tool.
