A new site called
Passwordbird
helps you come up with a password that's easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess. To use the site, you first enter in a name that's special to you, then a special word, and then a special date, and the result is an automatically-generated password based on those entries. If you don't like the password, you only need to click once and the site will generate a new one for you. You can keeping clicking to cycle through several different choices until you find a password that suits you.

Nice idea but i don't think it'll get very far, I can't imagine this is the kind of service that'll be in demand.

I think this would be an excellent service, if not just for kicks. Now if it could generate strong passwords, containing one special character, one capital letter and one number it would really be fun!

It might be a good tool for non-techie people who have trouble thinking up secure passwords, though...maybe you don't need it, but your mom & dad might!
