i love this segment of on10! its great that there's a portion with an expert wherein he shares how he does things on field. looking forward to the next episode. hopefully you can share the many tools that are available for a digital photographer whether microsoft technology or not.

Thanks all for your comments, suggestions and feedback. I've noted them all down and will address/incorporate where possible.
We currently have a list of about 20 topics we would like to cover in future episodes so I guess that means I'm going to be busy :-)

@RunneR - yep it's a bit long; approx 30 mins of episode #1 is my interview with Phil Borges - he gave me about two hours worth of content and it was all fantastic :-S

I find Photoshop CS3s stitching to be better than WL Photogallery but I was impressed with it when I tested it out a while ago.

I find that Smoky City Design Panorama Factory is even smarter at stitching but most of the time it's just easier to use Photoshop.

Thanks Nick and crew for getting this this terrific show off the ground.

The info presented was clear, concise VERY helpful and it was great to hear Phil Borges talk with such laid-back but clearly passionate ease about the "little hobby" he has turned into an excellent Gobal Program. Digital photography to get young folk in remote areas to capture their own stories and post them online? Small steps toward changing the world for the better by putting the power of stroytelling in the hands of those who live the story, too...

Similarly, great shows like this one... I look forward to the next, and hope it follows a similar format; tips, tricks of framing, lighting etc as well as "what this little lens does..."

Keep up the good work

Thanks Nic for starting such a wonderful ShutterSpeed series. Hope to see more of such episodes in future.
I would learn a lot from such episodes. Please cover some General Photography tips also in every episode.

Earlier I also had gathered various links related to photography provided by Microsoft and put them together. Microsoft's Photography Resources.

I hope recently released Pro Photo tools will be incorporated in WLPG in future.

Have you tried using Panorama stitching option of WLPhotoGallery? It does a wonderful job and its Free.

On10 is getting better all the time. I liked that allot.

I like taking panoramas (especially now that Photoshop CS3 finally has a useful stitching function) so hopefully you can find someone as skilled as Phil Borges who likes to take panoramas and ask them how to get the best results.
