Windows 7 and Home Automation?

That's seriously would be amazing if Microsoft were working on that. But I hate teaser videos without seeing it in real life first. This video will amaze the few who see it, and possibly create copycats coming soon.

This should have been at CES this year...

This is the video missing from the CES keynote. We see something like this every year, but we know this year was special.

I love the video!

PS: And heck, if my contractor was using ANY software like this, I'd be happy. If I saw something like this, at least I could ask or even better - get access to my customer portal and KNOW why my house will NOT be built on time. No more BS.

OK, to sum this up - in Future:

1. There is finally a common alerting and presence setup that travels seamlessly from my PC to my phone, to my car.
[And hey look, the phone -> car call hand-off actually worked smoothly.
Plus, it was not a FORD car, more manufacturers please.]

2 Applications / Data in the cloud allow for easy and fast workspace recovery on a new device, even temporarily.
This could even promise a future where I don't care which device I use, all my stuiff is there! [*depending on screen/input needs]

3. People seen to be happy and comfortable using technology.

Is this an SNL skit? Sure looks and feels like one!

I hope that my contractor does not have the attitude the contractor has in this video. Changes? Costs you more $!!! Not to mention the lack of interest paid to the customer.

I don't need anything that will give my greedy contractor the ability to overcharge me more than he already is overcharging now! If I see a contractor using software like this it will set off a red flag!!
