Innovation Day in Brussels was a great opportunity for the research groups at Microsoft to demostrate their innovations and the cool technologies that they have been working on.

At the event, I spoke with Shipeng Li, Principal Researcher, Internet Media Group, Microsoft Research Asia about one of their new innovations the Video Collage. The Video Collage constructs a collage from a video sequence for video browsing. It takes the most representative images in the video and seamlessly arranges them on a canvas while preserving the structure of the video content. It also allows users to browse video content in a variety of different ways. How cool is that?!
