I'm sure you've all seen and heard plenty about the gaming conference, E for All. I've posted a few videos here, here and here about the games and content on display there- but what I really wanted to see was what people were saying about a gaming conference at the Staples Center, in a post E3 era. Needless to say, there were some pretty big shoes to fill.

As someone who has faithfully attended E3 for the last 4 years, I must say that E4 All was a HUGE disappointment.

what was so great about E3 was getting to see games that wouldn't see the light of day for months and even years. Not so at E4 All where most of the games being shown were either already released or soon to be.

Another huge reason to dislike this event was the ridiculous entry fee. 100 bucks to wait in line to play games I already have at home is just criminal. Unfortunately, even if this "expo" had been free, I still don't see the need or justification for such an event.

If E4 All can manage to show us titles in early development, lower or eliminate the entrance fee, give out some FREE swag, open up all 3 halls, throw in a few booth babes, procure some first party exhibitors, get Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo on board and basically just not suck so bad, i would possibly consider attending next year.

with all that said I do feel fortunate that I was able to attend but it definitely doesn't warrant taking days off of work to go. I could have basically had this same experience checking out the kiosks at Best Buy and Wal-mart.

Thanks for reading. Miss seeing your face on the crappy station G4 has become lately. Frag Ya Later.  GT: ILLDADDYJ
