Microsoft Unveils World’s Most Advanced Tracking Technology

Ha - wow, Laura, that does sound cool, but you could have called it something that sounded less sinister than "tracking technology."  Makes it sound like the sort of thing that people who spell it "Micro$oft" are always going on about...

I wonder if they come in bluetooth models, though. All those additional wireless dongles are getting annoying.

Anyone tried one of these new "airmice?"  That'd seem to be the future of mice, right?  Like a wiimote for your laptop?

My biggest  problem with wireless mice (other than them needing batteries) is that the USB dongle sticks out too far on most of them so it's dangerous for your laptop USB ports. 46.7mm is WAY too big.

This thing needs a USB transceiver at least as small as the one they use on the Arc Mouse or even better, as small as the one for the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks.

A smaller transceiver would probably make this the best wireless mouse around.

Sounds cool.

... But Microsoft can't touch Razer with their mice. But who knows, maybe the BlueTrack will surprize me, it seems interesting enough.

Actually, Microsoft and Razer collaborated on the "Habu" ... so there goes that untouchable theory
