And there are some super cool new ways to instantly share and connect with friends. Plus, swashbuckling pirates!! Really.

I think the Messenger phones have some real big potential to be something bigger than what they seem. I think of it as if its step one in creating a full fledge VoIP system integrated within Windows Live Messenger and its network. Imagine have a Windows Live "Voice Mail" service accessible anywhere for you to check?

I am also curious to see how well these new HD cameras coming out for Messenger work and what their actual quality is.

overall not that impressed. The video and VoIp quality are pretty good but overall i'm not that impressed. No 3 way conferencing w/ video or voip as well. I also managed to crash it when we were in a 3 way chat. The interface is pretty nice though. I'm curious if this is SSL encrypted though? Would be cool to see multi point video. The VoIp seems to be full duplex though and the quality again w/ video is impressive.

All the features look pretty damn good and after I'm done watching this video I'm heading over to download it. Thanks for doing this episode or I would have been the last person to know about the update like usual.
