What is Maker Faire??

Join me down in San Mateo, CA as I check out Maker Faire! I chat with Dale Dougherty, editor and publisher of Make Magazine, to find out what this event is all about, and I learn about the Maker's Bill of Rights from Mr. Jalopy himself!

That's really cool, seems that all the really cool conferences and events always happen on the west coast. I think maybe it's time i move. I wish these segments were longer and I'm gonna have to check out that magazine.

I wish I was able to make it to the west coast more often.  I know a few peple who would be right at home at the faire, including a guy who made a multi-can crusher with an anvil in a guillotine frame and a robot out of a refrigerator and some motors.

Everything good is out west...the faire...and E3. *sighs*

This is the kinda stuff that inspires me. It´s great to see how people use their creativity, intelligence and technology to create weird and wonderful things. I just looks like so much fun! I definetely hope to see some more Maker Faire on10. Smiley
