I have an article for your Tech segment :D

I was scouring the Associated Press newswire (I'm a journo) and came across a story involving a ciouple of guys using hysteria as free publicity for their new radio-controlled UFO toys.

The part that had me laughing winvolved a taxi cab driver driving off of the road after freaking out at the sight of the flying discs. I guess the lads who pulled off the whole thing were just mucking about in good fun. Here's a link to the full story:

The whole world is brighter and more lovely now that I have perfect vision again! I finally found my cat! My macrame has improved! I no longer drive like a girl from L.A! It's so easy to use, and the risk of permanent disability or death is relatively small compared to the beta version, which still included a scalpel.

It's so much FUN to use that everyone should try it - even if you already have perfect vision!

I don't think there's anything wrong with Today in Tech. But how about something playing off the site name, like "The Decimal Point", or "On the Count of Ten" (and then address 10 topics), something like that.
I wish you could convert the following to a snappy title: There are only 10 people who understand the binary system, those who do and those who don't.

Firstly, thanks Tina (and Laura) for the effort you guys put into the segments.... all of them! Considering the nature of Today in Tech, and the funny take you give it, perhaps Fishnet is a more appropiate title. Today in Tech sounds more mundane.... which is certainly not the way we perceive the show. Unless you´re going to get really techie and serious, I personally would prefer Fishnet and the laid back view on curious tech news.

Other than that...... I´m feeling fine and dandy. :D

I feel great. No, seriously, I kinda like Today in Tech. Technology is advancing at an ever greater pace, but most changes are covered on a weekly basis, so you ladies are doing just fine. If you really like Fishnet, then go for it. You'll have my support, but I personally prefer Today in Tech.

Cardiologist make mad loot(comparitively to other specialties)... and their easy as heck to bill for, they got like all of 4 CPT codes... On a broader scale checking out the software that can track patient health information would be cool. Software like Misys Tiger/EMR are in widespread use in the medical industry and have revolutionized the way patients are seen and billed...

is it possibile to include an episode (or more) that's about the latest in Cardiology ??? 'coz this kind of medicine is the coolest ever and the most developing one, there's new in cardiology everyday, so i wish to include something about it !! thanx in advance Tina & Laura

Oh, and as for a possible new name for Today in Tech...FISHNET is interesting (a cool logo could be made).

I'd be interested in thinking about other possible names for the segment.

Speaking of logos, I've also been thinking about a re-design of the 10 logo. I can't enter the PC contest, but I'll try to come up with some of my own 10 logo creations, for the hell of it.

I'm really enjoying the Today in Tech, Tina. The comments/responses you and Laura give, after the news stories, is great.

As far as what I think about the recent news stories...well, the blue ring around Uranus...ok, I'm just going to stop right there.

And the "do it yourself surgery"...um, yeah, I think I'll leave some of the "other surgeries" up to the professionals.

Keep up the kick-ass work and thank you for reading our feedback.

BTW, is the show taped at the Millennium campus?

NET DETECT (play on common network admin LED naming conventions...
