Hey Now Larry,

I couldn't agree w/ you more. I love not viewing icons on my desktop. I boycott viewing icons, I want to see my backround pix. I also have a shortcut key setup for just about every shortcut on my desktop to open them.

I like it because with my multimon setup there's a lot of sky surrounding me.

Cool tip Larry. When it comes to my desktop I like having a clean desktop also. This is a great way to remove any of those excess icons typically on the desktop.

Googleman81 has a good solution, but you still end up with a few icons on the desktop.

thats very nice and clean, though i find it easier personally to categorize all the stuff on my desktop so i simply put all the icons in categorized folders and still end up with a quite clean (but not completely clean) desktop. :)
