You may be familiar with the Top Gear CoolWall, but not all of us watch TV that comes from the UK. Sometimes those of us in the US just like the idea and make our version and stick Steve Carell in it. Well, Steve Carell didn't make it for this adventure, but recently a US-based developer took a prototype of a Christmas-themed CoolWall (incidentally prototyped by a UK-based agency) and released it in production mode.

We caught up with him at his house and got the story on why he did this and what we can do with the Christmas CoolWall.

A few small changes and the Weekly videos

Some of you have noticed that the weekly feed is now returning the daily entries and that we have not published a new weekly compiled video in a few weeks. We've been making a few small changes for the next update to 10 and this was one of them. Due to our now flexible schedule we will no longer be publishing weekly videos. Maybe we'll launch a Season One DVD in the future or something :)

What would you like to see changed or added to 10? Personally I don't want to have to click so much to read comments. What would you like to see?

10 site redesign

You may have already noticed, but we've updated the 10 site! This update marks the graduation of 10 from a video blog (with some hidden blogs) to a full network of blogs.

Hope you enjoy the new site, and remember if you're jonesing for the old site, check it out, The Show has its own 10 island in Second Life and say Hello.

And make sure to bring your coolest creations or purchases. We're new to this Second Life world, so even the beach ball is still cool to us :)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Microsoft " Microsoft 10 " Contest (the "Contest") is a skill contest in which participants are asked to submit an entry utilizing the Microsoft 10 logo and submit in one of the following three categories:

create a totally new graphical logo for Microsoft 10
create a physical representation of the Microsoft 10 logo
create a photograph of the Microsoft 10 logo in a unique setting

ENTRY PERIOD: The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. (PT) on March 16^th 2006, and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on July 1^st 2006. (Entry Period). This skill contest is organized and administrated in the United States of America , and all entry information will be collected on servers in the U.S.A.

ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to technology enthusiasts worldwide who are 14 years or older; however, residents of the following countries are ineligible to participate: Cuba , Iran , Iraq , Libya , North Korea , Sudan , and Syria . Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Microsoft Corporation, and anyone working directly on Microsoft programs and their respective affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, promotion, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members and persons living in the households of each are not eligible to enter.

HOW TO ENTER: Entrants must access

No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable. If a winner cannot or will not accept a prize, then prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if entire prize or a portion of the prize is unavailable. Specifics of prize package are subject to availability and sponsor's sole discretion.

Should a potential winner decline the prize for any reason whatsoever, the next-eligible highest ranking entry will be deemed the winner of that prize. All prize values in U.S. Dollars.
