Before I get my content ideas/suggestions, I would like to give out a BIG thanks to the 10 team for allowing the chance for viewers to share their ideas/suggestions at this blog. This is a great addition to the site.

I hope everyone posts here with their ideas/ suggestions.

Here are my ideas/suggestions, so far. Each will be posted in seperate comments...

--------------------------------------------
1st idea: "Machinima"

(From Wikipedia)

Machinima (a portmanteau word for machine cinema or machine animation) is both a collection of associated production techniques and a film genre (film created by such production techniques).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machinima

It just hit me that it would be cool to have an episode devoted to Machinima.

Of course, Machinima has been popular in videogames, such as Halo (Red vs. Blue), The Sims 2 (The Strangerhood), Quake, World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, The Movies and yes, even Second Life =)

And another example of Machinima is MTV's Video Mods.

Check out the Wikipedia URL, above for LOTS of more info and links.

Here are a couple of other Machinima info sites, if you're interested:

2nd idea: "Internet Phenomenon" topics:

"Internet Phenomenon"-Web Comics/Sprite comics/ Flash Cartoons...

Someone mentioned Penny Arcade the other day on here and I've been thinking about the idea of possibly, having an episode (maybe, an "Internet Phenomenon") about web comics/sprite comics/flash cartoons (Homestar Runner, PVP, 8-Bit Theater, etc).

Might be fun.

I can tell you this one is on my list.  I love Machinima Smiley
I bumped this one up a level for you, just so you know.  I just wanted to keep the comments lined up for you.
"Internet Phenomenons"-Other online videos...

WARNING: Some of the videos mentioned below have profanity, as well as other inappropriate elements.

"9 year old argues with his mother on a Xbox Live Clan Match over Chocolate Milk."

"Angry (Croyt) Halo2 Player"

"Angry German Gamer"

"Star Wars kid"

"Star Wars Gangsta Rap"

"All of Your Base Are Belong to Us"

"Red vs. Blue"

Tour ideas:

I'd be interested to see what's going on at one of the local, film/video production houses (such as Digital Kitchen).

There are many, small (yet, rapidly growing) multimedia, internet, film/video companies out here, in WA.

I bet you wont have much trouble finding one that would be interested in having an episode devoted to them.

If you're interested, here's a site that lists every production company in the Northwest:

"Today in Tech" idea

Ok, I'm not sure if this would work for "Today in Tech", since I don't know if the producers want it to be totally fun and silly and non-"news-like"...but, maybe, they could do skits of the news stories. Making the news more fun, by not just reading the news and having us seeing the articles, but make it more visually entertaining (not exactly like SNL's "Weekend Report", though).

But, if the producers don't want the segment to be to silly, I understand and won't argue my idea.
Adam,

Thanks for the bump. I appreciate it.

And thanks again for the Content Suggestions blog.
