Our good friend here at Channel 10 Laurence Moroney takes us through a Microsoft Silverlight demo called Silverlight Chess.

Laurence Moroney was just on channel 10 giving us a nice little demo of Microsoft Silverlight - Airlines.  The chess demo shows some of the cool performance characteristics of Silverlight.  The chess game is a great exercise on how a computer processes information. If you happen to be a computer scientist.  And really, who around here isn't a computer scientist?

Tina, u see the new mgs4 gameplay video just released!, and ur showing chess...SHAME SHAME tina.lol
There's MGS4 gameplay footage? I must find it.
I'm not a computer scientist. I have no idea how they work. I only care that they do Smiley
I can only imagine how powerful the MCP would become if it were to assimilate all Microsoft technology.  After all, the MCP started as just a simple chess routine at Encom. I'm sure Microsoft has a kick-azz Tron program protecting everything.  Hehe.

End of line.
I'm just wondering how some of the controls work judging from that footage.  Some of it will be like traditional Metal Gear...but the rest...
