Cliffy B., is the lead designer of the upcoming triple A title for the XBox 360 "Gears of War". He sits down and chats with me about the Unreal series, Epic Games and of course Gears of War. I hope you enjoy.

I bet your mom said you'd never get anywhere with these games!
That was a great interview! lots of great info! Right on! My thumbs are up!  Lol!
Yep, can't wait for Gears of War. Next to Halo 3, it's my most anticipated Xbox 360 title.
Anyway, I liked the interview very much. It was nice to hear what Cliffy B's thoughts are about the next generation, as well as working in the game industry for so many years. And I thought the questions Tina asked were great! I did enjoy it=)
anybody else have this problem?
I agree, some very good first hand information to be seen here.  And Microsoft will definitely have a couple of powerhouse games with Gears of War and Halo 3 coming out in the not to distant future...
"Work Smarter Not Harder" is a moto that I try to live by ever since I herd it when I was a kid on Duck Tails.

Its good to see someone else says it too, wonder where he go it from?
Yeah!  Cliffy B. is the man.  Great interview, Tina.  Then again, I'm sure it helps that you're really good friends with him.  I remember all the times you've mentioned him before and all the times the two of you have been on camera together just goofing around.

Cliffy is a very talented designer and I wish I had the kind of rsources at my fingers that he now controls.  Its really intereseting to hear what he has to say about game design and you can hear some of the concerns he has about the industry just listening to him.  As gamers, we all want to see cheaper games, even he has said that.  As a desiner, however, he knows the cost of overhead and time it takes developing these titles, so the final price is always in conflict with the love of the game.

DuckTales - what a great show!  It's hard to believe that started up almost 20 years ago now...

...good times!  And its an interesting point of reference for a motto.
