"Times Reader" The New York Times on Windows Vista!

It's good to see that microsoft is giving a lot of attention to the UI for its new OS.
I always wondered why the UI being the most important asset to communicate back to the user, was not given the attention it deserves.

Wow!  I thought that was just a decent episode, until Tina lowered the big gun on the poor guy right there at the end.  Such harshness was not expected.  Way to go...way to challenge your guests.  That let you get an answer that was a lot more interesting than if you had just said "Wow, that's great."

News now and on the go has become a norm these past few years. It's amazing how fast it gets around, where it turns up, and the global impact it has. Times Reader makes an excellent improvement over the current RSS news feeds and I'm certain this feature will become the standard for other daily news publications over the next year or so. I seriously wonder how long it will be to the idea of "daily" news becomes antiquated and we'll see virtual hourly publications that cover stories just after they break. Daily news will always be televised, but I wonder how long hard print will last. Imagine video billboards and tablet magazines that download content instead of print.

Great journalism at the end, Tina. Kevin answered that well. I don't think this technology is trying to dupe advertisers or hold on to disappearing media, but adapt it to work with current technology. For the news junkies like ourselves, this is great thing and I can't wait to see how it does.

I'm glad they got rid of the lower scrollbar. That thing really gets on my nerves!
